As the new school year begins, Chapel On Wheels (CoW) of Orange is filled with excitement and anticipation for the opportunities that lie ahead. We recently held our teacher orientation and training workshop, and it was a resounding success and we are thrilled to see God's plan unfold.
This year, due to the overwhelming popularity of our program, we had to recruit more teachers to meet the growing demand. We are pleased to announce that we have successfully increased our teacher headcount from 30 to 36 dedicated chapel teachers who are passionate about sharing the love of Christ with our students. This expansion will enable us to reach even more young hearts and minds, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve the OUSD community in this way.
The evening began with a powerful time of praise and worship, setting the tone for a spirit-filled night of training and fellowship. Our Teaching Director, Alicia, led the New Teacher Orientation, providing valuable insights and guidance to both new and veteran teachers alike. Her expertise and enthusiasm were evident as she equipped our team with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively minister to our students.
Alma also shared best practices for student registration, ensuring that our teachers are well-prepared to handle the parent-teacher relational aspects of their roles. Meanwhile, John, our President, gave a comprehensive tour of our mobile chapel classrooms, training teachers on how to operate the TVs and multimedia library. This hands-on training will enable our teachers to seamlessly integrate technology into their lessons, enhancing the learning experience for our students.
The workshop concluded with a time of prayer, dinner together, and great fellowship. It was a wonderful opportunity for our teachers to bond and build relationships, which will undoubtedly strengthen our team and enhance our ministry.
As we embark on this new school year, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for what God has in store for Chapel On Wheels of Orange. We are grateful for the dedication and commitment of our teachers, and we look forward to seeing the impact they will have on the lives of our students.
May God bless and guide us as we strive to share His love and message with our community.
